We are pleased to share with you the video, transcripts, slides and summaries of the 2018 International Symposium on Usher Syndrome in Mainz, Germany.
Last week the International Symposium on Usher Syndrome was held in Mainz. It was a 3-day event, we only attended the patient’s symposium as I was afraid that the 2 scientific days would be too complicated to follow anyway (and I would be braindead before the patient program even started…).
During the summer of 2017 Stefano Scagliarini contacted NoisyVision to request assistance for his thesis at Politecnico di Milano. We immediately answered, convinced that an external and artistic point of view on Usher syndrome would help to the awareness of the condition.
At the moment the reportage of the 3YellowTheWorld Tour is only available in Italian. Many images and information are on the Facebook page of Noisyvision
In this post a few months ago we wanted to stretch the importance to participate in the DiseaseMaps project, emphasizing its mission
We connect people who are suffering from different conditions to help them finding things to make their lives better
Today we are proud to annouce we are ambassador for Usher Syndrome on the DiseaseMap
In other words we will give concrete support to the project, helping in the dissemination of the maps, in particular those of the Usher Syndrome and Retinitis Pigmentosa.
A year after the #YellowTheWorld expedition to the Everest Base Camp it is time for a new adventure.
Why? Where is it written that you have to go somewhere?
There is a beautiful light. A perfectly blue sky. It is eight o’clock in the morning. The streets are almost deserted on this Easter Sunday.
Off I go!
All is set.
Heart is big.
Mind is blowing.
#yellowtheworld – Everest Edition starts today.
I am excited like a mouse in a factory of cheese.
This initiative is supported by Retina Italia ONLUS
Just a few days before I go.
Whtat? you still have not heard?
It is not difficult to find out what is Usher Syndrome. Just type in the name on a search engine and thousands of pages that explain what this disease will be displayed.
