Describe photos with words so the blind and visually impaired can see them

I recently described a photo taken by a photographer who is blind, with the aim of providing information readable by a screen redader so that other blind people can ‘see’ the picture and eventually the photographer may have feedback on what is imprinted on her shots and find out what they communicate to the observer.

Learning a foreign language. Is it possible with hearing impairment?

My mother tongue (Muttersprache, I learned today) is Italian, I speak English quite well because I began to study it in school when i was 10 (rather late though) and the teacher in high school hold me in the classroom while my friends were smoking in the bathroom during the break to teach me the exact pronunciation.
